D (Double) L (Flex) S (Shield) R (Fragile) V (Shot) X (ShotsJam) |
Description[ | ]
Hits all tiles diagonal from the player. This also includes the tile the player is standing on, which is always hit twice, as the cross is actually two overlaid diagonals.
Strategy and Synergy[ | ]
General Strategies[ | ]
While it does decent damage for a 2 mana spell, it normally cannot reach nearly half of the enemy field. This spell is best used against foes that like to invade your side of the field, allowing you to maximize damage if used on the same tile the enemy is on at the time. This can also be done while playing as Invade Selicy to cross over to the enemy side with Fairfrozen.
Upgrades[ | ]
Crossfire can get amazing use out of the V (Shot) and X (ExtendedMag) upgrades. However, how these upgrades interact with the spell is a bit odd. The following chart, created by OSFE Discord member Dynast, shows the interaction with the upgrades. The chart displays the enemy half of the field (as the chart was originally made for Invade Selicy strategies). The number represents how many times the tile you are standing on will be hit.
Trivia[ | ]
- The spell name and flavor text are a reference to the 1971 board game Crossfire.[1]
